All these years of making stews, soups etc etc and simmering them all day, Oh all that Power I could have saved!! not to mention cooking Sweets at the same time....... All it takes is about 15 minutes cooking and preparing in the morning, put it in the Dreampot, walk away, no power, no stirring, no set time, and it's ready when you want it, doesn't over cook. I don't understand why it's mainly advertised with the camping community? It'd be great for the working person.....15 minutes before work to get it on the go and get home and eat. I remember using those wonderful slow cookers, but I hated the idea of the power running alllllll day, this does the same job and better but with no power, just thermal heat.
I couldn't recommend it more highly.
